How do you sell hearing aids at the prices you do and stay in business?
It's simple really.
Charge less money, help more people. As an independent dealer,we are not locked into any particular "price structure", or corporate standard in regards to our products.
Also, we believe word of mouth is the BEST advertising we can have, and so our ad budget is under control.

Are digital hearing aids really better than analog(non-digital)ones?
The real answer is yes, as far as sound quality, noise suppression, and control of louder sounds. We have both !
We offer digital, as well non-digital(many dealers do not)because they can be more cost effective. Many clients still prefer non-digital hearing aids, and do quite well with them, especially when background noise issues aren't as much of a concern.

Why do hearing aids whistle?
Hearing aids alone will not whistle, there is a reason or a "cause" that is happening. The most common cause is the hearing aid does not fit properly,and/or the aid is set too high.
Higher volume settings require a better, tighter fit to keep the sound in the ear. Also, if the earmold was not done correctly, the aid will not seal the ear, and whistle occurs.
This person more than likely needs a stronger hearing aid, or the current mold re-done.

Why all the interest in those tiny behind the ear hearing aids?
Those are called Open Fit, or over the ear technology. Although BTE ( behind the ear) aids have been around for a long time, these are a fraction of the size of the older styles, and there is only a small tube to carry the sound to the ear,not the thick tubes of old.
The result is a non-occluding,clear,crisp sound quality, and you don't feel like you have something "stuck" in your ear.
In effect, it's an "open" feeling you simply do not get with traditional style In The Ear hearing aids.
These aids DO have limitations, so consult your hearing professional for details.

Why are repair costs so high on hearing aids?
Repair costs are usually set higher to persuade the client to move into better technology. In most cases, on older aids especially, it's not a bad thing to look into newer aids, and what they have to offer.
We just feel that if you choose to repair your current hearing aid, it should still be affordable to do so.
You should be the one to make that decision.

Are your hearing aids different from the hearing aids sold by other people?
Yes and No.
Our hearing aids are manufactured by a different lab, perhaps, than others.Just as theirs are made by a different manufacturer than their competitors.
The fact is, most hearing aids are very similar in function, offering the same results in different forms, and with different names for the technology.
This is why we don't say that our hearing aids are the best ! That's almost dishonest. Instead, we say, our hearing aids are as good as, or better than anyone elses, we just don't need to overcharge for the same technology.
Thanks for the question, I hope that helps.
